Altered Journal

This is the first project for my new venture teaching. I'm so excited to start this and get the class going. After lots of "drilling drama" I finally got it right and this was the end result. The gorgeous papers are from My Mind's Eye and I thought they were such pretty colors. Green has seriously become my favorite color over the years? I inked the black binding with a pretty olive green to alter it. There is a groovy inside pocket that holds a coordinating clip embellished with some pretty fibers, and a place for a pretty pen. What do you think, think the class will 'sell out'? :)

You are so sweet. I really feel like this is a fantastic compliment cause it's coming from you! You are an amazing designer! I forgot to take another photo after I actually finished the book. Duh. I added five circles in coordinatin paper to the right, like book dividers. It looks so much cuter like that. Did I tell you I'm designer for a store now? I'm so honored. I love working with her!

DEar Angie,
These books are sooo beautiful! I see you dealt with the drilling problem well. If I was close by I would attend your class. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
